Cross Country Travels

Just for Aunt Nancy :)

I'll start with a my goodbye pick of this little lady :)

She was just too cute sitting there, and she got there all by herself.

This is the mini all packed up somewhere in New Mexico picnic stop. It was so pretty there I just had to stop and get some pics.

This is a deserted gas station off of old route 66.

This was a little alter in NM.

A train passing by while in NM, it just made me think of how big a deal it was for the west to get train service.

We stopped in Gallup, NM for the night and this little guy was in our shower lol.

Finally made it to the Grand Canyon, I felt smaller than an ant :)

It's just so magical here. I wanted to explore it all day.

Mom and I grabbing a selfie.

taking a short rest.

Selfie by myself. It's just so HUGE!

Panoramic. We're on the south rim.

This is my little artist shot of the Grand Canyon.

This is a mountain on our way back from the Grand Canyon, I just couldn't get enough of the gorgeous blue sky with the contrasting white clouds and the mountain coming to meet them.

Along the drive we noticed a very lovely forest fire. There were signs on the highway warning of smoke coverage from forest fire.

My first picture of Cali, we just crossed the line and stopped at the very first Rest Stop, I had to pee for awhile and I wasn't stopping in the middle of the desert to do so.

Out for a morning walk in Manhattan Beach, CA right after arriving. Manhattan Beach is where I'm staying for a little while and I'm only 30mins from Downtown LA.

Went and checked out the local art museum called, Lacma, they had a exhibit on expressionism and this one ended up being my favorite piece by Van Gogh, very different for anything he is known for but I loved the simplicity and penmanship of the piece.

This was outside the museum a piece called suspended boulder, I just thought it was funny they called this art. Lol.

Not sure what this piece was called but we called it spaghetti piece, it was a lot of fun to play in.

I did a little artistic shot :)

made it to Hollywood's walk of fame.
This one is for Myrna Loy my favorite actress of the 30s/40s

and then we hit up Grauman's and I stood in John Wayne's foot prints!! he had tiny feet for being so tall. That is a knuckle print to the left of his feet.

I thought Humphrey Bogart's message was a little funny to the owner of the theater.

And of course my idol!! Johnny DEPP!!

Gary Cooper had ginormous hands!

oh most important Hollywood Sign! I'm going to hike to there soon to, it's just a really long hike so I have to plan.

Where I'm staying has orange trees in the backyard that I get to pick from.

And Lemmon Trees

Went for a hike to a secret surfers cove. It's over to the left but I'm not allowed to show it.

They had tide pools that had little sea creatures, like this crab

and this sea slug.

This was the view from another peak I hiked to.

Went down to San Diego yesterday for a day trip and ended up in Hotel del Coronado, where they film "Some Like it Hot" Super cool hotel.

This was the Elevator inside the hotel, original, 167 years old or something like that. Even had an operator :) I liked his uniform.

I have been west coast for a little while but this is the first time I watched a west coast sunset. It was very pretty to watch.

I was taking pics and this girl ran into my shot. I think it still ended up looking cool.

The water with the sun setting was just beautiful.

and most recently, I saved this little kitty! It's a baby Siamese Cat.

I was walking by the same area the next day and I find a second Kitty!
We had to pick up a Kitty milking bottle to feed them, and soon the Siamese kitty rescue is coming to get them.

That is about it for photos :)
